Labor Day Weekend
FRIDAY Sept. 4 - AFTERNOON.....The Hospitality Room opened from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday for check-in.
FRIDAY EVENING..... Dinner was served at Sirloin Stockade.
SATURDAY Sept. 5 - MORNING..... Pulses gathered at the Marion Airport to participate in the Fly/In Cruise/In. Pancakes, sausage, coffee were served.
? Pulses attended this years rally.
SATURDAY NOON..... Big cook-out lunch at Ray and Judy Johnson’s hangar complete with hamburgers, hot dogs, homemade salads and desserts were enjoyed by all.
SATURDAY EVENING.....Dinner was catered by Peace ‘N Plenty at the beautiful Thompson-Ray House in Gas City, IN.
SUNDAY Sept. 6 - MORNING ROAD TRIP..... Royce Ann and Phil Martin planned a fun ROAD TRIP. The Pulse convoy to Sheets Wildlife Museum in Huntington, IN. Lunch at Nick’s Kitchen where the pork tenderloin sandwich originated.
SUNDAY EVENING DINNER was served in the Comfort Suites conference room catered by Moe’s Southwest Grill. Door prizes and awards were presented after dinner.

American Huey 369 ......Crew members flew two Huey Helicopters to the Saturday event. Huey 369 ( A Vietnam era UH-1H Dust Off Air Ambulance Huey Helicopter) and 803/Warrior 11 (A three year Vietnam Veteran UH-1H Huey “Slick” Helicopter)
Both Helicopters were on static display.
1928 New Standard Bi-Plane ......Former professional basketball player turned barnstormer Rob Lock flew his 1928 New Standard D-25 Biplane to our event. Rides in this very unique open cockpit biplane were available to the general public for $80.00 - Carrying up to 4 passengers in a large front open cockpit, the New Standard D-25 was instrumental in introducing hundreds of thousands of people to their first airplane ride, back when aviation was in its infancy.
